Dr. Katrina Cryder DC, CCN , 200-RYT

Webster Certified and Applied Clinical Nutrition Counselor

Dr. Katrina Cryder is a Chiropractor, Applied Clinical Nutrition Counselor and co-owner of Touch of Health with a passion for family wellness. She grew up receiving chiropractic care as a young child to eliminate suffering from chronic earaches. This early experience of chiropractic propelled her on a path to wellness. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2005. In 2010 she fulfilled her dream of creating a family centered wellness studio in Sandy Springs, GA with her best friend and business partner, Melissa Merritt, LMT.

Dr. Katrina lives in Chamblee with her husband, Ted, and their two girls Avery and Lila. As a busy  mom herself, she understands the high demands on time and energy and the importance of self-care. She shines in her role of helping other moms and families achieve health goals.  Katrina’s commitment to creating a healthy local community involves monthly support groups, and public speaking on chiropractic, nutrition and total wellness.

Melissa Merritt LMT

Massage Therapist and Nurturer

Melissa Merritt is a devoted Massage Therapist, self-care enthusiast and co-owner of Touch of Health. She has always been fascinated with the healing abilities of the human body and its influence on our everyday lives.  She discovered the power of touch at a very young age, while giving her father neck massages to help reduce pain and suffering from an old injury. Melissa believes that massage is more than just a luxury service; it is a vital part of self-care that has a positive ripple effect on all people as they work, play, relax and live their lives. She recognizes that all people are unique and have many different needs, creating custom massage sessions and treatments for each client including complimentary suggestions for everyday living.

Melissa attended the Atlanta School of Massage in Dunwoody, GA and graduated in 2007.  She has advanced training in Medi-Cupping, Prenatal and Postpartum, Stretching and foam rolling. She believes  that Massage should be both therapeutic
and relaxing for maximum benefits.

    Jennifer Edouard

    Patient and Office Coordinator & Music Queen

    Born in New Jersey Jennifer has over 8 years in the Nursing field working closely in Alzheimer and Dementia Facilities. In 2018 she transitioned careers and began utilizing her talents as a festival organizer, band manager and music promoter. Jennifer is on a mission to promote healing to young and thriving adults by bridging communities through creative self expression. As a Patient Coordinator at A Touch of Health her role is to not only as the liaison between patients and practitioners but assisting with scheduling, projects, events and onsite DJ of A Touch of Health Front desk.

      Jacquline Powell LMT

      Massage Therapist

      Jackie has been a massage therapist for 18+ years .Her passion for helping people transform their pain and dysfunction really shows in her therapeutic approach to massage. Jackie uses her intuition and experience as a body worker to tap into her client’s physical discomforts and release tension.
